Notables this week

It’s been a while since I have posted and I’m so sorry for that. Life has just been busy and crazy. So, I’m just trying to adjust. I promise I’ll get my shit together and keep y’all posted on my whereabouts.

This past week was a rollercoaster of emotions. Good and bad, but life happens and sometimes it’s just best to find the silver lining in all situations.

HUGE highlight of this past week is that my good friend Gina married her beautiful Wife Stef! What a gorgeously fun wedding!

I do get home sick and will be happy to be back home and ready to serve all you beautiful people! So please come visit me this week! Would to see all your amazing faces!

Entertainment this week

T.V. - Rotten Tomatoes came out with their Editorial 25 year anniversary top 25 tv shows of the past 25 years and oh boy this list doesn’t disappoint. What are some of your top favorite shows?

Movies - Gun to the head in front of the ticket box. Im choosing Saturday Night. A movie about how Saturday Night Live started. I love SNL and appreciate how hard it is to put on a show every week with new material and be quick on the spot. I use to do standup, improv and solo sketch. I loved it and found it very challenging. I haven’t tried or persued it since being sober but think it could be fun! Shit, putting out a weekly newsletter is tough. It’s not hard but some weeks I feel like I have nothing to share with you guys and dont know what to write about. Sometimes I have too much to say and need to dial it back a little. Anywho, I really want to see this movie!

Just watched the trailer again and damn it looks good!

Music - I cannot stop listening to this album! Ever since watching the Tiny Desk released Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso. My god I haven’t been excited about a band on Tiny Desk since Idles. So then I just started listening to their new album Baño Marìa. So catchy and puts me in such a nice mood! You should definitely check out both!

Weather this week

Mid 60’s and a low of High 40’s

Gonna be very cold compared to being in the DR where it’s been almost 90 everyday! Not sure how much Im gonna like coming back to the cold…

Sports this week

How awesome would it be to see a New York World Series! Let see if the Mets can pull of a win tonight! LETS GO METS!

Travel day! Back to Chicago we go! Thanks DR for all the sun and fun times! Best part of the trip was watching two friends get married and share their love with all of us!
