Notables this week

I had an amazing time at my friend Saly’s wedding. Her older brother Savy has been my friend since we were 5 years old. It’s amazing having a friend group since Pre-K. These are my core homies and have seen me grow so much in life and in so many ways. They’ve seen partners come and go, lifestyles changes and other highs and lows. They’ve always been by my side no matter what. My anchors in life. When we all get together, its just pure laughter and very deep life conversations. It’s amazing to have these men in my life. So for all of us to be together under one fancy roof, it truly made my weekend. AND we’re all turning 40 this year! Except me, Im turning 40 in 2026, I’m the baby of the group. But were going to Scottsdale in November for our big Birthday trip for ourselves.

Sorry this Newsletter came out 8 hours later than usual. I thought I schedule it out but I didn’t. BUT HEY! you got it before noon!

Entertainment this week

T.V. - Honestly haven’t had time to really get into any of the tv shows I’ve mentioned in the past weeks. But I’ll catch up with them in the winter time. I saw someone say how they just choose one subscription service at a time and when they’re done with the shows they offer. They pause or cancel that subscription and then pay for another but just only pay for one at a time. I thought it was pretty clever but I’m way too lazy for that but I should do that.

Movies - Finally watched Naked Gun and I have to admit. It made me laugh pretty hard. I gotta rewatch it because I feel like I missed some things.

Music - What an amazing past week of going to live shows. Oh boy were those fun to attend to and be in the Pit for! What a work out! That being said. I feel like I need to slow things down and go back to some of my favorites. My friend Will posted on his Instagram story that he was listening to this Vinyl and oh boy did it bring back so many memories of being in my early 20’s and living in the City. The freedom I had and discovering what it takes to be an adult living in the City of Chicago. Truly freeing.

October 5th Sunday OFF

RECOVERY DAY!

I’ll probably end up just working out and doing all my side hustles.

What I would love to do is grab some cute brunch. Watch some Football and then have an early night in on the couch! Maybe watch a movie?

Chiefs vs Jags on ESPN

LETS GO JAGS!

So as a joke, we would say that Kellys Pub is the number 1 Jags bar in Chicago. That started because of a fraternity would come in to watch the Bears game and if the Bears weren’t doing well then they would yell out “LETS GO JAGS!” and the whole bar would follow. Then when the Jacksonville Jaguars weren’t doing so well and the underdogs, the boys loved giving them support anyway they could. I think they just loved yelling out “Jags” in the bar but it was fun. Then one year, the Jags were getting some traction, so we bought a flag for the bar. It never took off anywhere but it would have been fun to claim the first and only Jags bar in Chicago. The owner of the team is a University of Illinois guy. I started to spread rumors that he would move the Jags to Chicago and Chicago would have two NFL teams. The Bears would move to Arlington and the Jags would take over SolderField. Ya never know!

October 7th Tuesday Tumans Tap 4pm-12am

Lets give a big shout out to my Friend Savy turning 40 today! Yup, thats right, my childhood friends and I are all turning 40 this year. Except me, Im the baby of the group. I turn 40 in June of 26. But were planning a Golf trip in November! Scottsdale here we come!

Picked up an extra shift this week! Come vibe with me on a Thursday! Could be fun!

October 10th Friday OFF

BUT just because I’m off doesn’t mean I wont be there dancing!

Tumans got a fucking DJ! We will be spinning records from 9pm-1am on Friday and Saturdays!

Im so excited for this!

October 11th Saturday My Day Off

Come visit me and watch me dance while bartending! I’m very good at multitasking! Could be fun!

I just want to shake my ass and make some drinks!
