Notables this week

An amazing week in the books for me. Ive been working a lot but luckily my job doesn’t feel like a job. I feel like I get paid to hangout with such amazing humans. I feel very fortunate to be where I am in life. I worked very hard and still working very hard. But its nice figuring out what I want to accomplish in life and just attacking it. Really finding your purpose can be such a beautiful thing! Nothing comes easy though. Life tends to throw things your way that make you question every choice you’ve made. It’s how we carry ourselves out of shitty or hard life situations that help build great character. We all can learn from each other and push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. Thank you for letting me express my love for the growth I have made. I still have a long road ahead of me but I can confidently say I am excited for the future.

It was super fun dressing up for Halloween! I loved the energy we had at Tumans. The costume was hit! Thank you all for making me feel so pretty and loved! I saw some great costumes that night too! I saw someone dress up as the Night of the Hunter, which was rad. I saw friends dress up as the other person and were having fun with that! It was just an all around great night!

I also have to say I had a great fashion haul this past week from Una Mae’s shop in Wicker Park. I love that store! Go check out my Instagram and see the fits I picked up and put together! Can’t wait to wear these great fits! I wish I could wear them behind the bar but I know they would get destroyed real quick. So keep an eye out for these fits out in the wild!

This week is a full week of work but theres a big light at the end of the tunnel. I will be flying out to Scottsdale Arizona for a golf trip with my grade school buddies. Its been a while since we all been on a trip, just us guys, in a really long time. I am so excited to spend time with them and share plenty of laughs. The golf aspect of it all seems nice but the quality time that we will spend together at the Airbnb is what I’m really excited about! I am very fortunate to have these men in my life! They are my rock and have seen me go through every aspect of my life and have always been there for me no matter what. Now thats something to be extremely thankful for and definitely blessed!

Well hopefully I will be seeing you all this week before I leave to Arizona!

Entertainment this week

T.V. - I started watching Task on HBO. I started it so late the other night and didn’t get to finish the first episode but Im excited to dive back into it!

Movies - I want to watch a scary movie but I realized I cant watch it by myself. I enjoy a scary movie when I can be scared with someone. I feel like getting scared by yourself is too much for me. IDK… I should actually then go see it in theaters. Then I wouldn’t really be alone. Hmmm, damn. Thats a GREAT IDEA!

Music - Man. I can’t stop listening to sad boy midwest emo music right now. And I’m not even fucking sad. I’m actually really happy being in love with myself right now. So listening the sad boy shit makes me feel something I don’t miss. I also love processing my emotions and embracing the sadness. I like to let it out, rather than surpress it. Feels fucking good!

Congrats to the LA Dodgers in winning the World Series!

Kinda glad its over. It was a great series and fun to watch but damn did it drag out.
