Notables this week

Love is in the air! I made it to the east coast to see my cousin get married. It’s the third wedding this year, and I have to say, each one is special and unique in its own way. I can’t say one is better than the other because so far, all of them have been a special memory I will have locked in for the rest of my life.

This past weekend was such a treat! I reconnected with old friends, explored Philly, and met some truly wonderful people. Then, I had a blast partying and dancing with my Mom’s side of the family. It’s where I get my sense of humor and love for fun parties. Let’s be real, I learned to embrace my silly side from Uncle Leo. He and I are dancing pros and can totally rock the floor. I’ve got some cool moves from Juanito, but Uncle Leo has the confidence to dance like he owns the place. Hope you caught it on IG!

I absolutely adore traveling for special occasions! I’m planning to travel more in 2026, focusing on international destinations. I’d love to start with warm spots early in the year. Next on my list is a trip to Mexico, specifically to my family’s hometown. It’s long overdue to visit my grandma! After that, I’m thinking of heading to Sayulita, a major surfing city. I don’t surf myself, but I’d be thrilled to relax on the beach and watch the surfers.

Product shoutout! I love my suitcase! I bought the Monos Hybrid Trunk style suitcase and its absolutely perfect! I was sick of trying to cram all my belongings into a carry on. I like have options and choosing outfits based on the mood of the day. So I obviously over pack. This suitcase makes packing less stressful and I love how it looks. I got it on sale and figured its my last suitcase I’ll ever need. So I’m all set! Truly love the quiality and mechanics of the suitcase! They just opened up a store in West Loop. Go check it out for yourself!

Entertainment this week

T.V. - Just watched the first episode and I love it. Can’t wait to watch this show unfold! Also, did you hear the news that Netflix bought Warner Bros that own HBO. I dont know what it all means and if its good or bad for HBO but sounds great for Netflix.

Movies - Now this movie is a movie I want to watch in theaters!

Music - I had my first crush happen to me a little bit ago, but this song popped up, and every time I hear it, I’m reminded of them. It’s funny how music can mark moments in time for us. I think I’m starting to get back into my own space and need to be a bit less “romanticizing” about crushes I start to develop. I’m still happy and grateful for those feelings, but this song brought a smile to my face. Now, whenever I hear it, I’m reminded of hope and that there’s someone out there for me. I’m not actively searching, but I know it’s possible to find love again. Cheers!
