Notables this week

What a week!

I’m in the middle of a work bender and for the first time in a really long time, it doesn’t feel like work. I make the best of everyday and utilize all my time with things I love to do! Only thing that work is slowing down, is the beach time. I had a good tan going but I haven’t been out much because of the work bender and the rain. This coming Thursday is the end of the work bender. Still plenty of work left but as soon as its an OFF DAY, I will be by the water getting my tan on.

This past Thursday I worked the AM shift. I was able to meet up with all my childhood best friends and had an absolutely amazing day with them! Its really nice having a friendship that goes that deep in time. They have seen you grow so much and over come difficulties and remain strong. No matter what, they have always been there for me. Very fortunate to have these guys in my life. I feel like when we all get together its a combination of laughter, serious talks and appreciation for each other. Mainly laughing which is so damn good for the soul. Love those boys!

Im very stoked Beach Volleyball starts soon. I gotta start working on my hops! I’m truly excited to start playing again! I haven’t felt this strong in a long time and I remember when I use to play, how winded and gassed I would get. Ive been working out and lifting consistently for the past 4 months. I’m sure I will see results in my performance. But its been a while, I hope I still got it! I started playing Volleyball in the 5th grade. Our grade school (the boys in the cover photo) team was truly amazing. We would be in 5th grade playing 8th graders from other schools and beating them. Freshman year of High School I was moved up to Varsity very quickly. I quit by junior year and enjoyed my time off by listening to Pink Floyd and burning incense. The rest is history…

I really want to lean into the rest of this summer and make the most of the warm weather. I feel like it just started but its already almost over. As soon as I see Football on the TV, I’m like shit, there goes summer…

But! Fall ain’t bad too.

Entertainment this week

T.V. - I know I’m a Month behind but damn I’m ready to watch this!

Movies - If it rains on my off day, I’m definitely going to the theaters for this!

Music - Damn, lately I’ve been really enjoying this genre of music. I do Down Radio and it has not let me down at ALL!

Weather this week

Its gonna be a nice hot week!
