Notables this week

What a week! I’m finally done with my work bender and I am back to my normal schedule! It honestly didn’t feel like a over stressed work bender because I still had a lot of fun on my down time. I only missed having a day off to have the option to do whatever I want that day. Well it feels good to work hard and feels even better to enjoy your time relaxing. This past Thursday was my first day off in 10 days and I was so excited to spend it on the beach or with my buddy Ralph on his rooftop pool. But Mother Nature had other plans in store for me. Which ended up working out great because I was able to have some pool time with my friend and catch up with him but then the rain cut that short. Which is fine because were going to be seeing each other at least every Thursday for beach volleyball, which I’m beyond excited for! But the weather ended up sending me home early. I then had an amazing rest of the day just lounging around my house and not feeling guilty about that.

This week looks nice! The weather is cooling down to only 80 degrees. I actually didn’t mind the blazing heat but for others sake, I’ll take the cool down. Lollapalooza is this week and I have Thursday and Saturday off. Lets see if I can find any freebies and see if I can get into the festival. I would then see Tyler the Creator on Thursday and on Saturday I would be ecstatic for Doechii. That would be dope.

Well one thing I will say is that its already August and I feel like summer just started. I will be taking advantage of all these warm nice days and do as much summer activities as I can! Also, I should start planning some Solo Trips for 2026. I have 3 weddings this Fall, so that will keep me busy and traveling domestically. But I’m thinking somewhere warm this February. We’ll see…

Entertainment this week

T.V. - This was so fucking good. I can’t wait to watch this season. This will be my Post Work Wednesday night ritual! Gonna need the laughs!

Movies - This shit is so scary. I feel for anyone who has been in a situation like this, just fucking scary. I have no review for this movie but the fact that it made me feel horrible for that woman who was just trying to look for love and found a monster.

Music - I love Tyler the Creator. That is all. New Album 🔥

Weather this week

Looks like its going to be a nice cool week for all you Lollapalooza Kids. I lowkey hope I can find a free ticket.

I can’t believe the White Sox put that whopping on the Cubs!

We’ll see tonight if the White Sox and beat them in this series currently at 1-1

Dude, the Late Night Menu killed. We had a good pop of people come in spefically for the Late Night Menu and it was well received. I didn’t try it because I wasn’t hungry but goddamn it looked good! I want to try the Fried Chicken Sandwich too! I should order some togo and Enjoy post work or for lunch the next day. Is that weird? IDGAF.
