Notables this week

What a HOT week!

I feel so defeated but in the best way possible! I’m living life to its fullest and I’m making sure my cup is full. I am so thankful and blessed to be surrounded by such amazing humans that show me love, care and empathy. You make my cup full. So Thank You!

I also possibly feel defeated because I’m almost 40 and I just went back to back weekends of concerts and music festivals. Not to mention that I was constantly in the Pit getting banged around. I gotta say, that was very therapeutic for me. I found community in those pits. It was filled with sweaty men and woman alike. All there for the same reason. It was beautiful. People were banged around, pushed down and immediately brought back up with love and support. All there to hold each other up and scream into the sky. One of the best years for concerts I had in a really long time.

Buckle up! We got another fun week in the books! My Childhood friend Saly is getting married this week! Excited to be dressed up with my old friends from grade school! And also hit the dance floor! Im going to be in a choreographed dance for the reception! I gotta practice everyday this week, so please check in on me and make sure I’m getting the dance down. I’ll do a little dance for ya! HA! this is going to be fun.

Entertainment this week

T.V. - My god, this cast and show looks amazing! I cant wait to dive into this!

Movies - I fucking love Daniel Day Lewis. One of my favorite actors. So I will be excited to see him again on the big screen!

Music - I can’t describe to you the feeling this album has on me. This album will forever be a core memory for me. An anchor in this timeline of mine. It symbolizes change and growth for me. Its just fucking beautiful and came out just when I truly needed it the most. So thank you Turnstile. Thank you for putting out such great music and even better live performance. Beyond happy to experience all this in real time. Blessed.

Bears game at 3pm. I’ll be coming in at the end of it. Im not sure if people are even going out for the games. Especially after week 2 but week 3’s performance has us thinking there might be something there…

October 4th Saturday Tumans Tap 5pm-Close

I think I will be switching over from Friday to Saturday going forward. I like Saturdays! Its the night you can go out and get after it and be silly with me!

October 5th Sunday OFF

Excited to just enjoy a Sunday off! Probably watch some football all day. Maybe get some wings somewhere… I’d Love to go to Buffalo Joes in Evanston. Best Wings!
