Entertainment this week
T.V. - Love Island (USA) season 6 just ended and I just started! Hopefully I should have this finished by the time this newsletter comes out. I already know Leah is the winner but I want to see how it unfolds.
Movies - I went to go see the new Deadpool movie. It had a lot of good laughs. I also saw someone post about seeing movies in 4D and that they saw Twister in 4D and I can only imagine. That could be fun giving that a spin!
Music - Pitchfork just passed and now it’s Lollapalooza time baby! I’ve been going to Lolla since 08’ and that year was Radiohead solo headlining Friday night. That was my first time ever listening to Radiohead and ever since then I’ve been a big fan. Rage Against the Machine and Wilco were Saturday night. I saw Rage and that was an interesting experience. I remember being on top of the hill at Grant Park and then the sirens went off. The crowd closed in and crushed all the poor souls up front. They had to stop the concert multiple times. Kanye West and Nine Inch Nails were preforming at the same time on Sunday. I split my time with both bands but definitely had a better time at Kanye. What a weekend. People would pay so much money to see those acts today. But I will not be attending this weekend. Not much getting me excited about this years lineup. But that’s because I’m old and don’t know any better.
