March 24th Sunday MEXICO CITY
Today is our last full day in Mexico CIty. We have been staying in this very cute and awesome neighborhood called Juarez. I highly recommending staying here and you can walk to so many amazing fun spots. One of our favorite neighborhoods to walk to has been Roma. So many great restaurants and fun places to eat and drink.
This trip was mainly to see my friend Jimmy Gribbin and his newly wife Eliana get married. They had the most beautiful wedding! So happy they brought us out here to celebrate their love for each other because it has sparked our love for Mexico City. This trip has barely scratched the surface of things to do here and oh boy, I can’t wait to come back!
Wednesday we landed at 5:30am in Mexico City and hit the ground running. We had a 2am flight (will never do that again probably, unless in first class) hoping to get some sleep on the plane but there was a group of people that were intoxicated and annoying that kept us up all night. They were transferring flights from Chicago to CDMX to somewhere more beachy. Damn they were annoying and my god I worked on my patience on that flight. BUT ANYWAYS! We hit the ground running and explored Mexico City all day long and let me tell ya, I slept like a baby that night!

Thursday we walked our asses off all over into different neighborhoods, shops, and restaurants! That night we went to an amazing restaurant Meroma. The food and experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back! After dinner we meet up for drinks with all the guests and wedding party at ARANGO Cocina de Raíces. The view was amazing! And it was fun meeting up with everyone!

Friday was the wedding and my god it was a beautiful wedding! I’m so happy for them and they both look so happy and in Love! Congrats Jimmy & Eliana! Thanks for having us! I had so much on the dance floor and I wore my new Ray-Ban Meta glasses and tried to take as much videos as possible. I realized real quick that the footage is going horrible because I was bopping my head up and down dancing to the music. If you’re a wallflower, then the glasses will be perfect for you to capture all the moments.

Saturday was so much fun! We went on this boat tour called the Floating Gardens. It was awesome experience and a great way to get all the guests of the wedding shampoo effect in quick motion! Haha. Some guests had harder times than others but boy oh boy I don’t miss those days! Happy to be where im at now a days.

It is now our last day and I am currently at SoHo House CDMX writing this out. Much preferred this way! Today after breakfast, we’re going to hit the street markets, do some last minute shopping. Then we has some reservations for our last night here for dinner and some Mocktail rooftop drinks! Just a little romantic night for the Lady and I. We truly love it here and would love to own a condo out here and fly multiple times a year to enjoy this beautiful city!
March 24th Monday TRAVEL DAY
We leave this beautiful Country and come back to our home Country! I heard all you losers got snow this past weekend. Glad we missed it but I doubt we’re in the clear! I’ve seen it snow on Cubs opening day (2018) WOOF! Bring on the summer!

Well I missed the best days of March Madness last week but it was okay because this trip to Mexico has been nothing but amazing! Come fill me in on what I missed here and how the F did Kentucky blow it?? I heard this kid was on fire with his 3’s. Well my bracket is F’d. Can’t wait to watch more Basketball with y’all! Makes the shift go by faster!

March 29th Friday My Day Off
It is the last Friday to get Tumans Friday Fish and Chips special (TG). It use to be “Me time for me to relax and spend time with my Beautiful GF” but now we must pack up our amazing apartment and start our new adventure in Humboldt Park! Don’t worry, I’ll still be at Tumans and Kellys. Only my living situation is changing.

March 31st Sunday OFF
It is Easter Sunday and we are closed for today at Tumans. It is my normal shift but we like to give the staff off that day. So I will be packing and staying busy!
